Once I started mocking things up the caliper hardware became self-evident. A 1986-99 FLTS front end on a 1979 Low Rider is being a pretty cool change. Total redo on the connector wiring with some nice upgrades. New bars with internal wiring looks nice too. I'll do some pics when its together.
I'm in central Alaska so my parts come from the internet, or people out of state. Haven't found anyone in the state that carries shovelhead parts. I can thank Tatro Machine in San Diego for getting hard to find parts, and good information. Fortunately, I also have decades of experience figuring this stuff out. Got this front end figured out. Late model FLST front end on a 79 Low Rider took minimal modifications but I really like how its coming out. Love doing this stuff.

Frame cleaned up, minor molding done to get rid of all the dirt traps, primed & ready for paint. Started on tanks and fenders now. Going to be gray when done with some custom air brush work. Pick up paint a couple days ago at a local shop as no one would ship to Alaska. Stuff got expensive up here. April 25 and still snowing here.
