why is the 2006-2009 dyna mag rims so unpopular. a buddy of mine changed his rims couldn't give the stock Harley rims away. LOL
Probably for the same reason he wanted to swap out HIS rims.
Truth be told, enthusiasts from any ilk try to personalize or distinguish their ride from all the others. OEM parts aren't typically the best way to do that. Interestingly though, there are many times they seem perfectly acceptable to modify a bike/car that didn't originally come with them. Hard to put a definitive hold on how it all works sometimes. IMHO.
I just bought these 9 spoke mag wheels for my 83 FXR so I decided to check out the mags you mention 2006-2009 Dyna. My 1st impression is they are weird. Anyway no one is giving the 9 spoke mags away. The 9 spoke is more traditional in my opinion.
I pulled the races and the ugly purple is being blasted away as I type at the Powder coaters shop.
I have them on my 94 FXLR and they just look right to me.
nice bike and rims super fxr but the 2006-2009 dyna rims won't fit yours they're metric.
