Absolutely... But... Not necessarily gonna get all of the oil out ... Only what is in the oil tank...Which in Theory, is all of the oil...Yea Right... My Sister is a Virgin too!!!!
Edit; I don't even Check the oil level on a Cold Harley!!!!
Come on dude what kind of question is this crank it up and let it get warmed up and then change the oil duhhh
not a good idea to just start it, let it sit while trying to warm the engine up unless it is water cooled, the motor will over heat before the oil gets hot enough.

my idea is to drain the oil as well at the supply line to the pump.disconect the supply line from the pump to the oil cooler. then take the spark plugs out .install new filter and oil then crank it over untill clean oil comes out of the line to the cooler. in the meantime remove the cooler and clean. it runs a belt primary so no oil feed to the primary
I always change oil hot. The idea is that the dirt and stuff is in suspension from being run. Once it sits stuff settles to the bottom and does not come out. It is harder to do because things are hot. Does it really make a difference? Who knows.
There are circumstances when you have no choice but to do it cold, like you get home late from work and you have the oil and are leaving early on a run, so early that warming up and changing would get you offside with your neighbours... and so changing it cold would be better than not changing it.
