I won't be trying it again...Mine Bound up...oh, and I should have Known it was gonna!!! it made the Hub ride In on Mine...Out on others!!!
A Ramm Jett Retainer, is all I ever seemed to require!!
in what way ? i remember someone saying the grease leaks out but a mc mech said maybe so but after about 60,000 kms
You do understand several of us who have had this conversation with you before are long time motorcycle mechanics, older Harley's in particular. Reasons why we don't use or like them. Time and LONG experience says they don't work for **** in 19 out of 20 bikes.
I'm thinking I have a New in package long roller kit...Will (gladly) trade ya if you insist on trying it!!!
Hes running them and he had to hone out the clutch shell to get a running fit that wouldnt walk or seize up like a lot did, this chat has been had at least 3 times I can remember. He chimes in when ever the big 52 comes up. Ramjet, aluminum pressure plate and stock bearing cage is simple, solid and reliable.
What you cant do is go backward after you honed out the clutch shell unless you replace it, running fit will be too sloppy and **** will vibrate and drag.
