My understanding is that in the 90's they only mode one 80" Evo motor, so the factory was putting them in rigid mount Softails and rubber mount Dynas and Touring bikes. Leads me to think the motor should be able to be bolted up to the rubber mounts with some effort. The Shovel motor is shorter than an Evo, so it should fit in the frame. The transmission and oil pan become the issue, good luck.

I have seen Genny Shovels in Softail frames, much easier route. But would be cooler in the Dyna frame.
No Problem... The Engine Dimensions at the Motor mounts , and Bottom are Same same.. Only the Top Motormount would need some minor Fabrication!!! Or replace with Shovel FXR (1982 and 1983 or FLT '79 thru '83, top mounts...

Also the bracket that connects the motor to the 5-speed transmission on those bikes, if it is not on the Dyna.

That "bracket" was Not on later 5-speeds... it is Part of the transmission, after???
Again...a Shovel Engine Swap into an Evo Dyna, or any Evo Platform, is No Sweat!!
