whats ones thoughts on a stock 1340 engine ive had my 1980 lowrider since 84 with only 17000 kms s&sb carb and runs perfect, plenty of go for me. the only problems ive had back in the 80s was stripped exhaust threads and 1 bled out lifter

Nothing wrong with them that an EV27 won't fix. Evo's will rise again and seem to be down here.

The real weak link I found on my Shovel would be the exhaust threads. Fixed mine once and for all with Time Sert. Has been holding up a few years now and several miles later with a Thunderheader
