Default geyser

I just went for a shakedown ride. About 5 miles into "shaking down" I found oil gushing out of the rearmost pushrod tube midway top to bottom. They haven't been touchedin a good while.Haven't touched the top end in a good while. The oil pressure gauge was indicating around 50 psi before the geyser. Any ideas? Thanks

is the oil pressure gauge one you can trust?
pressure relieve valve stuck?
plugged kinked or blocked return line
are the oil lines to the pump and bag installed correctly.

Hmmmm, I did "dry" the primary. Belt drive. I took the "T" out and took the vent pipe from the tank straight to the pump.

on my 68 I still have a breather or blow by on the inside of the pump out of the case I have going back to a remote breather filter.\
I don't know how having vent plumed wrong could cause that much oil PSI?

Xoff: As you probably know, Harleys have never been known for high oil pressure, even so low it scares us...like even 5 psi...yours is over the top for some reason. Volume, not pressure is what a shovel lives on. IMO you know you made a change... so IMO therein lies the problem. I shut off primary oil also...that is a great move... look at it ago
in...
