Looking for the following:
Must havesil tank, battery tray assembly, shocks (really only need 1).
Not to bothered: headlight, front fender, rear fender, seat.

Any shopping suggesions would be appriciated. Please dont say e-bay

Got any swapmeets happening in your area? Ask around at indy shops.
You can buy that stuff new also. I think Custom Chrome sells most of the stuff you want maybe even the seat but I'm not sure about that.
Craigslist maybe?

I would consider replacing the shocks as a pair so they will be matched correctly.

 

are you doing a resto or is it a rider? Progressive shocks are a nice upgrade from the stockers, and they still look reasonably original-ish.

Are you still looking for parts? I have everything you need. It came off my 78 1/2 Shovel. Oil bag, headlight, battery tray, front end if you need also. give me a shout when you can.
