If I understand you correctly.&nbsp\\; After reassembly when you try to kick it over the clutch slips.&nbsp\\; Did you correctly reassemble it according to the manual?&nbsp\\; Plates put back fiber plate first then metal?&nbsp\\; Did you stager the metal plates so that the spring buffers are not in a line and the word out is facing out?&nbsp\\; After you installed the pressure plate did you tighten down the 3 slotted nuts to give you the 1 1/32 distance from the pressue plate to the spring collar?
&nbsp\\;
Check all that and let me know.

Something is keeping your clutch plates apart.&nbsp\\; Back off the center screw and see if that works.&nbsp\\; If it does that was your problem.&nbsp\\; If it was overtightened it may have damage the throwout bearing, especially if it was the new 3 piece type.&nbsp\\; If the center screw doesn't fix it, and you are sure you assembled it right it may be in the kick start side.&nbsp\\; The new style piece throwout bearing has been known to come apart and jam things.&nbsp\\; The starter clutch nut may have backed off.&nbsp\\; I would check these only after I exhausted every possibility on the clutch side.&nbsp\\; Check assembly, check pressure plate adjustment and center screw adjustment.
