a problem with shocks/studs fitting

Well, the new shocks came today. They have the same damn "built in" rubber bushing and metal sleeve. Unbelievable.

Get a set of progressive suspension the cheaper shocks are junk might as well run struts

I saw this on the V-Twin catalog. They sell a "shock stud conversion" kit that converts the bushing and the sleeve with the two piece setup like I have. Says you just "press out" the stock sleeve and bushing? So I guess I can just do that after all?

I have the same problem I think that I will have the lower. shock studs machined down. It shouldn't take any time at all .
