Hey Y'all. I'm converting my 83 FLHT into a fairing-less scoot with 14 inch apes. Need some input as to where I can find an extended clutch cable to the tune of around +8" - +10". My trans is still the ratchet-top style, so I am having a tough time finding one for my year/trans/etc. in a longer version....
Also, I am replacing the fairing with a custom made windshield and was wondering if any stock Harley FLHT windshield mounts would work on my front end?
Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Okay, maybe I need to reword my question.....For my specific bike the length of the cable out of the magazines only goes to 61 nches (+6 over stock)......I need a 70 inch cable which is available for other models.....will I be able to use any cable for my bike (has anyone here done something similar?).
Thanks in advance
The MoCo did at the time sell FLT's both with just windshields and no Fairing. You should be able to get a cable no problem, Ratchets were used up to 1978, 79 switched to Cow Pies.
