Fairing Stereo Install
I originally posted this in the Dyna section because the bike is a Dyna. But since the fairing came off my Shovel the install may be of more interest in the Shovel section.

I have been working on the music side of having a touring bike
. My first time to have a stereo on a bike. I still want to install a headphone jack.

Parts:
Shovelhead fairing with fork brackets extended because the distance between triple trees is greater than a Shovel.
Paint, epoxy, Goop glue, liquid glue
These parts purchased from eBay for total cost of $184.83
Prices include shipping.
Speakers- Boss MR50 $31.57
Speaker Pods- 3D Logics 25.50
Housing- Seaworthy Marine 50.00
Stereo- Milennia MIL-MR50 70.76
Antenna- Marine Hide Away 7.00
I haven't decided on the paint yet, but the white will be painted black or will match bike color.

I got the headphone jack installed.
The stator was improved a few years ago when the plug fried because it had worked loose.
I don't remember what it was. It was recommended by a mechanic friend.
I like the Millenia head unit. It has no CD. But it has SD, Aux, and USB inputs.
