Can anyone give me a line on an aftermarket speedometer.
Looking for something that I can use on a wideglide. I'm running the speedo cable off the front wheel (21"). Not sure where I'm going to mount it. Maybe handlebars or something custom. Thanks for any info.
Covering a lot of ground there can you narrow down your wants a bit more ? There's a boatload of speedos & ways to mount them so get a firm idea of where you want it and we'll be glad to help .
I think it's narrowed down pretty good. Speedo for a wideglide. Wheel driven off a 21" wheel. Who gives a **** where it's mounted.
Well, where/how you mount should have some bearing on the type of speedo you use. That being said V-Twin and j&p are 2 of the biggest suppliers for the aftermarket parts.
I just had my second speedo from J & P crap out on me! The trip odometer stem broke. HELP! Anybody else to get one from?
Man I feel your pain, Got to Colorado last year and my OEM speedo went south. had to buy aftermarket. Didn't even last 1500 miles before it took a dump. Found and OEM speedo out of NY when I got home.
Unfortunately J&P/V-Twin are the only sources for am crap.
