I really appreciate your breakdown of the engine numbers, at least for now I know where the engine started its life. The identification number on the title is the same as the one I posted with one small difference. The one I posted is 12r1ca1046133****. The actual number on the title is 12r1ca104s133****. I'm pretty sure the title is right, I will have to look closer, they was really hard to read on the neck.
"Megawatt" the more research I do' I am surprised its titled as a '72 too. It is, however titled as a 1972 self assembled with the model being SUP not sure what that stands for neither. I know two other guys running an evo in a modified shovel frame, however, mine does fit in the frame, just barely and touching the rear post, but it does fit with no alterations yet. I say yet because i don't like it touching the post, vibration is crazy, but thats a job for another day. Thanks again for the help, and if anyone can help ID this frame it would be much appreciated. Thanks, Jimmy

Not surprising really midwestern states are lax on older bike titles and mods only time you may have trouble would a CHP shakedown at a big party like Sturgis or the like . Ca on the other hand is royal c*cksucker about that stuff , the bike must go to the CHP for inspection before they'll title or tag it and this is after you pay all kinds of fees up front and they are notorious for keeping bikes for a very long time if they feel the numbers don't match with paperwork . Seen a few go absent for a year or more till it was sorted out .

Please do not take offense but what you apparently have is a mongrel, home-brew affair. These are everywhere.

Somebody takes a few parts from this and a few parts from that and cobbles together something that can be ridden. Many fabricators welded-up custom frames for a few years and then went out of business. Some are still around.

Best viewpoint is to just take it for what it is and enjoy riding it.
