im in need of a frame for a shovel, pan,,anything but a sporty -- frame doesnt need to be in good shape as i only need it for a mock up-- there was one on ebay that the neck was cut off, shock mounts cut off and really butchered.. i only need it to have the down post top rail, motor mounts so i can bolt a case 1/2 in it and take measurements where the rear exhaust hits the down tube. i have a project going that has 2 front heads and the rear exhaust is now the intake.. i need to set the head on and get the correct angle for the intake spogot... the carb will sit where the battery use to be. i dont want the carb to sit to close in but i dont want it to far out.. anyone have an old junk frame???

You setting the top end up like the XR750? Some manufacterer did that back in the '70s for drag racing. I can't seem to remember their name. I'll think of it today. Someone may still have a set-up laying around their shop collecting dust.
#1 i have a big dog frame all i really need to do is tig a down tube to it to get the angles for the rear intake----
#mike sorensen makes the heads anyway you want them for $2500 -- i didnt want the carbs to stick out like the XR1000 i have them where they are closer in and in lign with the frame and they dont get in your way like the XR750/XR1000's did .. i had to remove the battery and the oil tank --- the rear fender as you see is a old GG/MC frank fender a 5 1/2" boat trailer fender fits under the fender like it was custom made for it --- thats the oil tank -- the battery is turned 90 degrees and in a custom made box thats a spider web -- the coils sit on that also and the oil filter -- the throttle cable for a 1080 el tigra jet ski fits the 2 38mm mikuni's its a 2 into 1 cable and it has the 90 degree bend.. motor mounts are snubbers 1 per head -- petcock is gone and i have a primary 1/2 gallon tank that a 3 to 5 lb electric fuel pump supplies its hidden under the fat tanks -- this ISNT my first rodeo -- i had dual carbs on an old knuck in 1969 rode all the way to tracy,ca on that bike in nov 69 -- did the 2 read heads -- pan/knuck heads on 1 engine -- i was building 100+" bikes in the 70's when no one knew what they were.. even used a old toyota head to make a 4 valve engine on a harley -- lots of tig welding on that.. the pentroof design 4 valve heads flow more air and an engine with a 3.5 stroke and trock 3 13/16 cylinders (82") runs like a 150" of today -- the heads are the key -- trock made the cylinders and even before we knew what an EVO was we had flat top pistons and 4 bolt heads -- only because the toyota head had 4 bolts --
