Default Compensating nut 1979 FLH-80
What I wanted to know is the cover that the nut goes through, should it be tight. Thinkin about pulling it and puttin a few drops of loctite on it and reinstall it. Would like some feed back. Thanks,

if you mean that it should be tight when the long bolt that goes through it is tightened down

in a pinch you can buy just the solid sprocket -- cheaper and your riding for the holidays -- unless you can find a good assembly local
