Almost makes me wish I still had my shop in KC , I'd like a slice of the ex's pie and your buddy would get a real bike outa the deal . Like been said , this is better than a SOA maraton .
Oh yah , the blowing oil outa the breather ? Watch for other leaks like around the lifter blocks and pushrod tubes and spark plugs getting oily , blowby on the rings and pistons will cause the breather situation .
you know his front lifter block was weeping alittle and i think he tighten it down alittle. he only got a couple hundred miles on it at this time. seems to run alright, but we will see how long it lasts.
bike went back to the shop today. i was telling him he needs to go over the head bolts and other fastners on the engine and he took it to the shop to have the clutch adjusted and an oil change. it also has so blowby going on. when we were leaving he ask when he could get the bike back and they told him they didn't know until they get into it. i think they are sitting him up for another big bill. they roll out the red carpet when they see him coming. there is no telling what these people are going to sell him next.
Don't stop posting this thread kept me entertained for 10 minutes. I thought I had problems!!! One thing I did learn is I am going to have my son snoop around and see if I am on my Ex's Life Insurance Policy.
i gave him a ride to the shop yesterday to pick up the bike.$200 for an oil change and clutch adjustment, and they tighten the head bolts up. they had the bike for 5 days. now he's put $7700 in this bike and it still looks like ****, needs fenders, tanks, dash and headlight cowl. most expensive shovel in history.he's spending that life ins. money fast. he's more fun to party with than ever before and goes non stop. we'll see how this all plays out. i would just like to see him spend his money more wisely, but it his money. his ex would be screaming at him right now if she could see his act.

man, i hope not. i hope this thing lasts him along time, although i don't see it. he's alot of fun to run around with cause he's so freaking silly and he keeps you laughing all the time.i'll tell you what though, i'm gonna get on as many life insurance policies as i can. nobody gets out alive!
so far so good, the only thing that's gone wrong so far is he lost his budweiser shift handle off the jockey shifter. his front master cycl. shot craps too. engine seems to be running strong. i would have lost money on this bet so far. about 900 miles on engine now.
Just wanted to know if you could or would tell me maybe whats wrong with my bike. Yesterday I was riding approx 25miles ran great. Well on the trip home I went about 10miles and it shuts off and the kicker is frozen, wont move. Two hours later my repairman came to pick the bike up and quess what it fired up again. Jumped on the bike and gave it hell back towards home maybe 20miles and did the same shut off and kicker froze back up. Whats going on???
