Default Installing Swingarm Cleve Blocks Question

Hey Folks,

I'm installing new cleve blocks and seals in my swingarm. Nowhere in my '80-'83 FLT manual does it say they are to be lubed or, installed dry. Which one is it?
My existing old ones came out and kinda disintegrated (the rubber part), so I don't know if they were just dried up from age or whatever. The internal seal housing the spacer was full of rust dust.

Should I smear with Bel-Ray waterproof lube or press them in dry with soap??

Put them in dry as many things affect the rubber. They run a totally different system but back then that is what they ran.
