a friend in know who is new to air brushing did these for me-- I have an air cleaner that fits a S&S super "B" that's air brushed -- since I have an "E" I wont be using it -- its the same color as my bike
The new carb is ordered and on the way! I'm excited to get this sumbitch going after so long in storage. Thanks for all the help!
When I pulled the manifold, I noticed this chip missing. The old o-ring was formed to the gap, so I'm assuming its been missing awhile. Any suggestions on this?
I've seen aftermarket kits to convert from o-ring to band type clamps. Anyone have any experience with this? There may be a thread on this already, I haven't looked yet.
you will have to convert to the band type intake seals - the kit comes with a plastic ring that fills that hole from the broken o ring port - we do this mod all the time it works well if your not removing the head for work , and if ever you do, you can have have it welded and fixed till than the kit mod works just fine - be sure to do the front and the rear the same what you do to one do to the other -- johnjzjz
