Not new but first post.
I'm not new to the forum and have gotten tons of great info but this is my first post. I'm getting my dads 81 FLH back on the road after many years of sitting in the garage. I'm looking to see if you can still get the rubber grommet that has two male threaded ends sticking out that goes between the battery tray and the frame. The local dealer couldn't find it in the parts book so I'm hoping someone knows a p/n. Thanks.

yea JP cycles might sell the right rubber cushion - two types are available one is heavy duty and inside the rubber it has a spring that is welded to both ends than the rubber is added
the other one is just 2 studs connected by a rubber center < no spring its junk
e blows i have seen them as well the heavy duty ones i would change all 4 if it were me doing it -- johnjzjz
