Default Rear footpeg mount

I need to come up with a way to mount the rear peg to the frame tab. I can't seem to find a male-end stud, without cutting the old one from the original bracket. Any ideas?

the first picture is a mount used for a buddy seat from a 60s shovel it mounts in the primary center inspection hole and that has a special cover its of no help

second picture is a tab welded by some moron in the incorrect spot its too low and might get involved with the exhaust the peg will -- it should be at least 3 to 4 inches higher than what was done -- they do make the correct block to mount it to the down frame rail for both sides my guess you have an early frame that did not come with the rear peg mounts

the third picture i am not sure but it does have a factory looking early buddy seat type male peg mount - the picture is of just a part of what it might look like as an entire piece

Hmm. So I'm already dealing with cobbed up stuff? My uncle owned the bike since 1980 so lord knows what he or the previous owner did to it. Here's a pic of how it was when I got it, minus the pipes which were attached to the triangular bracket. I've added new pipes with bracket so have no need for the triangular piece. The top bolt seen is attached to the square block tab that's welded to the frame. 76 fxe by the way

I made a bracket similar to the ones they use for a hardtail that attaches to the transmission mount. Let me know if you need a picture.
