I've skinned both bottoms of my saddlebag guards. In looking for replacements, I see the guards available without provisions for the rails, but all I can find for use with the rails don't come with just the guard, you have to get the whole set of rails and all. Does anyone have a line on just the guards?

If ya cannot see it from the saddle then it is not there !! Mine are beat to heck as it was a Cop bike and then a old little man had it and he dropped it a lot and once it ended up in a pile of rip rap rock.
Seriously though,
I would think there are more than a few available as a LOT of folks removed them for the look like on Road King Customs, Streetglides and such. Place a wanted ad ? I do have a near perfect complete set up waiting for me to not be lazy to install!
I was hoping to find some knock offs or maybe after market pieces. For the $300 needed for just the two guards I can get the whole set on eBay, although admittedly it wouldn't be genuine HD (although I suspect they source many parts overseas). Chrome guy wants $100 per side, and they won't look like new. It's been pointed out that I can't see them from the saddle and that may be the best advice yet.

I've got a set of take-offs from my 2012 FLHTCU. Not sure if they fit the older frame or not? If so, and you're interested, PM me and I can send you some pics and we can negotiate a price.

Thanks for the offer, but I don't think yours will fit because of the frame changes in 09. However I did find these. At $128 a set it's less expensive than buying a single guard.
