how many times have you locked your bags and then noticed that one of the lips on the saddlebag lid was not under the bracket on the back of the saddle bag bottom , it happens all the time because the lip on the lid barely fits under the bracket , knowing this all you do is place a screw driver between the bracket on the bottom and the top lid , pry a little bit and the lid lip will pop out from underneath the bracket and you are in the bag
oh dude, look at your bags. OK, let me get out my crayons. How are you going to lock your keys in the bag? By the time you hear your little key fob wigglin' in your pocket, unless your next to the bike, all your chit is gone.
Some men, you just can't reach....

it really is amazing how simple that is, I installed a motion sensor alarm to help with the issue, someone touches the bag and the alarm goes off. then the alarm fob vibrates and beeps
Why is this concept so hard for people to grasp? Push the clip down on the outside of the bag, near the bike, where the lid latches to the bag and pry it to the outside of the bike. BAM the lid is open.
It ain't bain srgry people.
Good product, I like the design.
Oh, I get it. I'm kinda' slow and it took a MENSA candidate to splain' it to me.
"bain srgry"? That's some funny chit there comin' from a guy who is doin' the schoolin'.
Wonder why I haven't heard of this before since it seems so easy to break into.
I just installed the Brukus Saddlebag Lock Kit on my 2011 Road Glide . The reason I wanted to install the kit is I'm going on a 3 week trip through Canada this summer and wanted my bags to be more secure. We all know with the older style bags a screw driver can get you into them. With the written instructions and video they provided installation was easy. I bought the ones with the barrel style lock keyed to my Harley lock so I wouldn't need an extra key. With the installation the bags are very secure and a thief would have to smash the bags to get inside . I ordered a black kit and installed them on the black part of my paint job , on the front side of my bags , under my crash bar. They are almost invisible and do not hurt the appearance at all. The only draw back with this kit is you must use a key to get into the saddlebags . I feel this is a small price to pay for the added security. Over all I am very happy.
How long did it take you to get your order?
I am asking because I placed my order back on 6-19 and my order has not been shipped yet. I have called them 3 times and no one answers the phone so I left 3 msgs asking for an update and still no call back or email update.......

I have always gotten my orders very quickly. Did you order something that was on back order? Or you in the U.S.?

I am in Boston MA and I ordered the hard bag lid conversion.
I got a confirmation email with my order # and no mention of a back order.... I have even logged in to their website to check on my order and every time it is listed as "order waiting to be filled"
This is strange.....no call back or email update after 3 messages and over 5 weeks since I placed my order??

Oh. Sorry man. Never had that before but I never called. Might be because it's such a new kit for them. I've always had really good customer service.

I just got an email back from them a couple minutes ago apologizing for the delay stating:
"Your product should be shipping this week. We have on the website that it can take 3-4 weeks for the order because at this point with this new product, we are still figuring out and gauging stock, besides catching up with all the pre-orders.
We are waiting on one part that is due in tomorrow, so as soon as it arrives, we will get your order out to you."
