Jeez, almost $1400 for the complete set up??? Wow!
And it doesn't even look good all the way forward...
I built my own bracket for a lot less (quick disconnect).
May not be near as Purdy but it was a lot cheaper & it works great for those long rides
It also attaches to the same mounts as the sissy bar.
I highly recommend the Kury Relocator as well. I usually ride alone but I use a Saddlemen BR3400 backseat bag when touring. The Kury Relocator will give you infinite adjustment with in it's 1" forward to 3" back range. It is pricy but worth it. I can set it so my bag make the perfect back rest and I am most comfortable. But if my back starts bothering me I can slide it up about 1/4" which will put me in enough of an up right position to satisfy my bad back. I'm sure the wife will really appreciate the comfort of a fine tuned back rest, and a happy wife makes for a better trip.

Reason: spelun
I just thought I would let people know I purchased the Ultimate seats tour pack re locator and I am very pleased with it. I tried emailing A & S but there response time was terrible and they did not seem interested. I was ready to call George Anderson (I just prefer email) when I found the thread mentioning the Ultimate seats unit. They were courteous and prompt and redirected me to the Canadian site and also shipped from Canada so no duty for me as well! It is hard to tell that I did anything to the bike but she has a lot more room. If you don't need to move it back and forth this is a great unit.
