Take the electronics out...dry clean only.
Skip the tumble dry...beats the hell outta the paint.

Unless it is caked with mud, mine do not get washed. For almost 40 years I used Lemon Pledge on all my bikes. I believe they have changed the formula so I now have switched to "Original" Bike Spirits. Spray on wipe off.

Contrary to what people think, Uncle G. Rarely washes his bike. Easier to keep it clean. Bugs come off easily if you do it right after a ride, before they've dried on.

I just take a damp microfiber towel, heat it in the microwave for 30 seconds then let the heat/moisture dissolve the bugs and grime. Works like a charm, and no special cleaners needed.

Honda polish spray works well. Pledge works very well on bugs, but tends to leave a 'greasy' look that's kind of hard to get rid of.

I've had good luck with S100: http://www.s100.com/s100_tcc.htm

The dealer recommended it and I found it works well.

Car wash , pre wash , wash, foamy wax stuff, spot free rinse , ride away! Just be sensible where you point the wand and how close you get with the nozzle.
