What about using one of those tank lift kits ?? Raise it a inch to clear the harness. Cheap, easy bolt on with the cool look of the lifted slightly tank.
guess so I know I have prayed for a gas station more than onece in riding across the UP here in Mich so I can understand the want I guess , just never thought about a bigger tank

I'm thinking about picking up this tank, then matching the paint on the rest of my bike. I have a 93 flhtc. What would I have to do to make it work as far as the petcock for the fuel? I haven't looked into to far yet but love this color scheme.
