Does the left fork or left side of the wheel have different dimensions than the right fork or right side of the wheel? The left side is perfect, but I used the same spacers and shims on the right side and it rubs. What, the heck...
Define "rub". Caliper to rotor contact? Or pads? If pads, did you reset the pistons on the right caliper? Was the right caliper shimmed before the adapter?

Sorry. The new caliper ToKico caliper makes contact with the wheel. I'm using the same spacers/shims as the left side.
how bad.... *cough* dremel/sander- paint/epoxy *cough*
Yeap, that's the plan. I think I already knew the answer, this was just my midnight venting session =). You know when you have plans of buttoning something up that night, then you get thrown a curveball? Worst thing ever. And the garage is under the kids' room so I couldn't be grinding calipers down at midnight haha. I'll knock it out today.
I'm not sure whether I should use my original brake thread (this one) for my current upgrades, or include it in my current "Winter Suspension" thread (https://www.hdforums.com/forum/dyna-...n-project.html). If anyone has an opinion, feel free... I always like when things are easily searchable by topic, which is why I thought I would keep brake stuff in one place... But they are part of my overall fork project... Hmm.
Yesterday I received my new rotors from BrakeTech/Howard Messner: 330mm stainless steel full floating Axis/Cobra Roadrage series. This weekend I'll pull off the 11.5" HD rotors currently on the front wheel, and will provide weights of each set. These feel pretty light.
