Any reason why you would want to do that? Weight savings are minimal, you wont gain any extra HP by removing it either. The bike still runs the same with or without it. You are basically voiding your emissions warranty by doing that. Im surprised it doesnt throw a code after removing it. You are venting it back to the atmosphere rather then the can thus polluting CA nice clean air.
Because I want to install an oil cooler down in that area and you can't with the evap canister there. I don't like the vertical oil coolers on the frame.
Plus, with the engine running cooler with an oil cooler, that will cause less harmful emissions into the beautiful California air which will offset the deletion of the evap canister.
Nowhere near as cool as many of the other bikes in this thread, but I'm thrilled so far. Next up exhaust and JD's t sport fairing. Just installed rad tracker grips, magnum black pearl cables and lines, and west coast mx t bars. I have a set of hard case risers and bars as well, but at the last minute I decided they were just too tall. This feels perfect. I'm 5'7" with short arms.
What size bars are those? I like those LED turn signals, where can I find those?

Was reading the manual and saw synth oil in engine, synth oil in trans and primary oil in case.
I also read people putting synth oil in all 3. Can that be done on the LRS?

hey guys.. been a minute since i've been on here. Last I checked in, I had battery issues but seems the battery tender has revived it. for now..
hooked up villain2hero's (villian2hero.com) fxdp repops this week. still waiting on my defab full fender to get back from paint hopefully today. Going with custom dynamic's low pro smoked integrated taillight. While the bags are super big and i know theyre not everyone's favorite, Im happy with em!
Thinking of doing the DevFab rear guard too as I was quite happy with their Quarter Fairing and sport front guard.
Do you have all the pieces together for it yet? Wiring Looms etc.
hey thanks man! I should hopefully have the rear fender back from Paint tomorrow but I have everything (tailight, wire harness, lay down plate etc) ready to roll ! Custom dynamics low profile smoke tailight with integrated turns going on. Do u have the sport fender on? God I want that!

Ready to ride dammit!
Those are the ugliest bags I have ever seen on a bike to date...... look at the hinge size.... oh my god!! Nice Bike Ugly Bags.

Not yet, I have been too busy riding this awesome bike to think of it. I'm going to repaint the whole bike though in like a battleship grey colour. It needs to be drilled so I'll have to mock it up soon.
