Parts list for extending handlebars.....BLACK ABS block
So I am installing a Lucky Dave's 13 inch T-bar on my 16 FXDLS and I hit a snag. I have all the parts I need but it seems that the ABS block kit that HD makes only comes in chrome/polished aluminum. I have looked and looked over the internet but cannot find a ABS manifold block that is all BLACK!! Has anyone changed out their bars on this model with a black ABS block?
Well because the lower front brake lines that attach to the manifold are ONE PIECE. Also the brake line going from the bars to the manifold is also ONE PIECE. The only brakes lines that can be attached or unattached are the REAR brake lines. There's a trend forming here, do you see it? When you extend the length of the bars you will obviously need a LONGER front brake line. Here are some pictures for you.
Here is the replacement part.... If you notice it's chrome/polished aluminum Hence the purpose of this post....Need a BLACK MANIFOLD
Maybe he needs to extend his brake lines and is having a hard time finding a set with a black manifold?
Oh ,,I get it.
Like Beanoboy say's "rattle-can" paint??
There are few people that actually check into that kind of detail unless it sticks out,,
any black paint that matches close will hide it.
