Pretty much copied Checkers system. Separate vent tube for each head. Will keep an eye on it to see if anything clogs up.

diesel motors did up until the mid 2000's....then the epa got to them too.

I had weed whacker fuel line but the neoprene hose the local h/w store offer might be a better fit.......guess I pick up some 3 -4 feet.......1/4 inch the way to go I guess.

This cost me a little more than I expected, the k&n a/f I got on flea bay was over sized not allowing me to install the breather bolts, so this one cost me 8 bucks for the hose an clamps, then bust out retail for the right filter! (its an se 1 throttle body).

It won't.

Rockey, what I did is ran a straight 3/4" piece if hose from the breather bolt to a 3/16" plastic 90 degree barbed fitting pointed down. That routed my hoses straight down and close in and away from metal cover. I used the small zip ties at the connections (4) and trimmed off excess. Clean set up. I did this about a year ago, no leaks and don't even notice the rubber lines. I did route mine forward along the pushrod tube down through the frame.

yeah, I didn't get a lot of tube, and I stayed away from any fittings....Maybe some nube will be impressed , cuz the words ''fuel injected'' are stenciled on them, lol.

I am going to do the breather mod this weekend to my Ventilator. I am using brass push-on hose barbed fittings that I ordered from McMaster-Carr part # 91465K11 and push on hose # 5283K31. With this setup you do not need hose clamps. But you have to use that fitting and hose combination. We use these in the plastic injection mold industry all the time on our molds. The hose does NOT come off, in fact you have to cut them off for removal.

I used the plastic barbed connectors and the mini zipties and it's worked for a year with no leaks. This sounds like a good solution also. Would like to see some pics if you are able, thanks.

Default push on hose

tucked behind the AC nobody can see the connector

this barb requires no clamp when used with the proper hose, be sure to push it on all the way

That fitting should be available in the Edelman line at any well equipped mom and pop auto parts store
