Anyone own a 2008 Firefighter Edition?

Anyone own a 2008 Firefighter Edition?
Hey y'all. I have an '02 Firefighter Edition Road King. I've rode the dog crap out of it and I'm going to refurb it. The '02 came with just a decal and pinstriping on the tank. I'm going to repaint it Vivid black and I want to add the tank badges (not decals) from the '08 version. However Harley will NOT sell these without the proper VIN. Would anybody be so kind as to allow me to use their VIN to order these parts? I'd even be willing to pay someone to do it so they wouldn't be releasing their VIN info. Thanks in advance.

Found them on fleabay about a year ago......$200 I think...(about $280 at dealer)..they show up on there occasionally...........still procrastinating taking off the sticker on my tank and installing these.......I know the sticker is UNDER clearcoat........just not sure if my skills are up to it.....

There are actually a couple sets of those on Ebay right now if you do a search on Harley Firefighter. I bought mine from a private party a year ago and have them on my bike now. I'm currently looking for the "Firefighter" and "Special Edition" rockers. Those are hard to come by. So, if anyone knows of any, I'm all ears.

It's been mentioned in another old thread that you may be able to have a trophy maker make the inserts cheaper than you can get them from the moco.....just get the badges first and have them made to fit.......
