Picked up this Corbin Dual Touring seat from a forum member for a great price. Came with a backrest and have to say this is a super sweet seat. The quality beats anything I have myself yet tried and can literally be felt when the seat is picked up. The construction is awesome as is the leather and design. Have only had a short spin so far but know this is going to be fantastic.
Spoke to a good friend who has a Road Glide Ultra CVO. He went through I think 5 seats before he settled on this one. Both he and his wife are very happy. Won't list the seat manufacturers we have both been through before but all top names to include most HD seats. If your touring bike is in need of a great seat I would not hesitate to go this direction.
As this is for my new Road Glide it was a win win. As opposed to yet again buying the 4 point docking hardware, passenger backrest and pad which I reckon would have cost me between 600 and 700 clams, this does what that would have done. All I now need is another backrest and we will both be set.
I just love thinking outside the box and getting a great deal for a fix I needed!!!
Glad you found a seat you like, it can be hard for sure. After four bikes and many seats I actually like the HD touring seat the best of them all. To me the test is whether a person can go at least two hours without pain and having to get off the bike.
