I didn't expect him to become hostile but I know my personality and I don't handle these situations calmly. My thought was "who can get mad at an old lady"? I figured it would defuse the situation vs me showing up there and escalating it. All I was trying to do is get the parts without ending up in a fight and possibly going to jail.

I'm not going to comment on the how you handled.the situation, my thoughts don't matter and as long as you are good with the outcome neither do anyone else's
If you'll truly do what you said a while back, be done with this thread, crap will die down.
No one can make you not abandon this site but it's kinda like cutting off your nose to spite your face. There's tons of good info and experience on here and usually more people willing to help than hate.
But you'll do what you'll do.

What I don't get is he said he was going to go over there with a few of his buddies but thought better of it. Did he need a few of his buddies for 70 year old man that's a hundred pounds lighter than him, much older and much smaller then him? He called him a little old man. That's where he lost me.

Well in the end all worked out. The Maj has his parts and is not facing any law charges. Bob is still ok and still cranky. The Maj's mom sounds like a tough old girl that can handle herself and she didn't put a 9 mm hole in Bob's forehead. So all in all its funny how this thread wound a few people up. Thanks Maj for letting us know about Bob even though I'm 2000 miles away you never know when a rider may cruise through the area.

Well, this thread was good for some laughs anyway. I looked at the Google reviews for Cycle Bob's and his responses to negative reviews were hilarious. He truly appears to be a nut case and I'm not sure why anyone would do business with him.
