I signed a deal on a 2018 Cvo roadglide in gunship grey yesterday. They will deliver it Thursday due to all the snow were getting up here in Canada.
Anyhow I'm torn between the fullsac mx pipe and the jackpot ceramic by fuel moto. Has anyone had any experience with either pipe?
I will use the fullsac power core 2.0 regardless of which system I purchase.
I am coming from a 15 RGS with a stage 5 and d&d fatcat 2 into 1 and I found it really loud. I had a 15 SGS before that with Vance and Hines true duel with monster rounds and it was to quiet. I'm looking at something in between.
I like the ceramic coating on the jackpot but I heard the fullsac has the decel pop/gurgle like the d&d.
Thank you for your help
Steve George took his time and waited till he could get the best results out off several different prototype headers.
There's a reason why more Profesional Engine Builders prefer Fullsac over other brands for a 2-1-2 Header.
Since your going Fullsac Baffles already, it just makes sense to go all the way with the "D" X-Pipe. Don't forget the Baffles screens and TTS Mastertune Turner as we'll.
Check out and study his dyno charts real close for the actual gains. Compare the chart of the slip ons and a tune to the ones where the head pipe is also replaced with the fuel moto head pipe.
Then go to CVO forums, and check out the MX head pipe by fullsac.
Then decide for your self which suites your desires.
I know I have the MX head pipe in my garage, and I will install it in the next couple weeks.
I also know my 138.5 HP and 140 Torque CVO Road King is all fullsac exhaust also.
Here is a shot of the MX head pipe on the bike. I installed it yesterday. It has a nice big 2 inch crossover that goes under the bike. Its very well made, stock heat shields fit better then stock. The Fullsac is the best option.
The M8 exhaust mounting set up is much better then the twin cam, and easier for installing a head pipe.
It looks great. I'm going to pull the trigger after the new year
