And now I got really excited. The stuff from Magnum showed up and the color is perfect. Braided copper with black fittings. The chrome end connects to the ABS module under side cover so it doesn't show.
Those cables look sweet. I’ve thought about changing my chrome sweepers to black sweepers. If I do, I’d grab those cables for sure. You having dealer bleed the ABS or are you not worried about it?
So let's start putting it all back together right? Cables and lines installed. Mirrors are Arlen Ness mini ovals. I would have liked this style slightly larger but not enough to make a change. I love the way the bars blend right into the inner fairing. Exactly what I was looking for.
And off to the parts store for incidentals. Decided to rebuild master cylinder and broke a part that doesn't come with the kit.

I did a vacuum bleed on them to fill the lines since I replaced all of the fronts. But since all those lines were empty it will go to dealer for the power bleed to be certain. It is the safest thing and worth the $80 with free pickup and delivery.
Once you take it out for a spin you'll know if you need to take it to the dealer for bleeding. If the ABS light goes out once you take off you're good to go. I'm digging those copper cables. Nice touch.
I have those same grips and I love em. If you have real soft gloves, they may be a little tough on them for a while but it's well worth that. The consensus also is that I have 12" PY MB's. Very similar setup. My levers just peek over the fairing. Very comfortable.
