I have the same issue. Last October I was at my dealer for a servicing when they discovered the same thing. From what I understand, not an uncommon problem. I will get mine done in late Mar or early April--whenever things are nice enough to resume riding.
Well since weather is ugly here for a few days figured perfect time to strip bike and fix some paint flaws from last time I painted. Played with a mixture of toners and got a unique color. Even more fun since the fxdls came in nothing but black and I can't have that.
Drying after 3 coats of paint and 3 coats of clear. Color it was.
