Default Added & Converted Rear to LED

Had a close call at a stoplight several weeks ago while on my 2014 Ultra Limited, with the stock rear lights. I stopped for a yellow about to turn red light, gal behind me had to smoke all four tires to stop. Decided to upgrade the visibility by doing the following:
- Replaced tail lamp with Layback LED Tail Lamp assembly, HD P/N 67800355
- Installed Electra Glo Keystone Auxiliary Run/Brake/Turn Lamps, HD P/N67800589
- Installed Custom Dynamics Magic Strobes LPT2 strobe flasher on the tourpak

I'm really happy with the results. Much, much more visible. The Harley stuff was plug & play, after removing seat, side covers and main fuse. The Custom Dynamics went on easy and works well but their instructions need to be updated. The wiring harness wasn't exactly as described plus there are two small dip switches to set that aren't described at all in the instructions. Their customer service hotline was very helpful and I got it corrected quickly.

I'm all in at just under $600. Could of done it cheaper I'm sure but I visited Lone Wolf HD in Spokane WA for the 1st time. They had a great selection of parts on display and the parts manager took his time and was very helpful. I found a lot of value in that. My local dealer, Rattlesnake Mountain, has a minimal parts selection and what seems to be constant turnover at the parts desk. I can read the parts catalog too. Overall I'm happy with the products, retailer, and suppliers.

It is all HD, except for the light under the backpad, which is Ciro3d Tour Blade Light.

You are right Ryan, but that gal smoking her tires puckered me up. Smoke rolled up from the rear of the car to above the roof line. I was rear-ended once before years ago on a bike. Where I live, you have to order on-line. When I was able to see all the stuff in front of me I jumped at it. Cheaper than my insurance deductible.
