Just like the tittle says. I am looking for smallest grips that will fit my 08 ultra. I had thumb surgery a couple years ago. I think smaller grips would make it more comfortable on longer rides.
Would like something with some style. Not just the stock black style.
I run stock smooth grips on stock 1 handlebars. The grips just fit over the bars. Im not sure how they could be thinner, like a Gold Wings grips. But I could be wrong.
I got these from Lowbrow Customs, they don't appear to be available anymore, but they have a wide selection, I like the smaller grips myself, always had sport bikes so that's what I am used to.

Agreed, I don't see how they could get any thinner than the standard grips. I too prefer them, and when I installed the heated grips, that is the style I bought.
Drag Specialties makes (or at least did until recently) smaller than stock grips. I accidentally got a set for my 03 Wide Glide and they cramped my hands. I got a set of OEM grips from the dealer and was surprised at the difference in size.
When HD made the "Low" touring bikes, one of the details was smaller grips. Whatever diameter was normal they were about 1/4" less in diameter. Go to the HD OEM parts finder and get yourself a # for a Low. My buddy was thinking about buying a Ultra Low from his neighbor, asked me to check it out. As soon as I sat on it I immediately noticed the small grips, maybe what you are looking for, good luck.
I'm short and have small fingers . So I went through fair amount of grips. I wanted something that I'm comfortable with my fingerless gloves(padded) during summer and Heated gloves for winter.
Another issue I had was I'm using Oberon adjustable clutch with Mueller easy pull kit, so most grips were too big for clutch engagement, even stock.
Finally I found Arlen Ness anodized grips. They have been perfect. Love it. They are small enough to pull in my adjustable clutch and also comfortable with or without gloves. They are awesome.
