I recently bought a shifter linkage cover did not install it but put it on to see how it would look now it seems the linkage has a couple inch play(never messed with it before don't know if this is normal)but my heel shifter is now touching the floor board by the time I'm in 2nd and I can't get it to third thought I would throw it out to the experts before I adjust the shift levers I think I'm trying to move not fix the problem
Any thoughts

Default RE: shifting

Not sure if you put on a longer shift linkage or not, but you can remove a set screw on the toe and heel shift levers. Pull them off the splined shaft and move them up or down as needed to give the room you need to shift. When i got my heritiage the toe shifter was to low to get my boot under so I moved it up a few notches. Depending on the location of the set screw, you may have to removethe floor board to get at it. I don't remember.
