Have had a bike for 47 years and never stored it away from the house. Decided that with free install from the dealer on the pipes I wanted and free storage...what the hell? I can't believe how weird it feels not having my bike in the garage! Anyone else have withdrawals like this? At least it's supposed to snow tonite... LOL
I like keeping mine close. I am lucky that I have a heated garage and even though she is spotless and when I can't ride on a cold or snowy weekend I still find something to do with it. I just like looking at it every time I go to the garage.
I couldn't imagine not having it here at home.
Will they let you work on it while it's there?
Which suburb are you in? I'm originally from Mt. Prospect.
I can go see it - It's only 15 minutes away...but don't want to be the *****. It's on the second floor and kinda hard for me to get up there by myself. When I can't stand it anymore {can't believe I said that} I'll grab a case of beer and use the excuse I need pics of the new pipes. They won't believe it, but the beer will smooth the trouble.
I'm in Wheeling ~ Just down the road from your old haunts ~ jc
Must be@ heritage harley 2nd floor. I thought oak lawn had the only 2 floors. Wish Crete harley never closed its doors.
LOL - You haven't been back in bit have you? It's at Lakeshore in Libertyville. But the new dealer in Glenview is two stories and a basement - Same with City limits in Palatine and at least 4 others within 40 miles of me now. The days of the small dealerships are gone I'm afraid. Too bad
