Fuel tank fitment
Hey Guys .. Not been here in a while ... Long story!
I'm going for a change of look over the winter , and I'm in the process of
aquring a new fuel tank.. I know the fuel pump fitment tends to change on different year tanks. but is the actual fitment of the tank to frame, constant through the years.. I have an 07 Deluxe, and have been eying up an 08 tank that is also Deluxe.. No point even asking dealers , they havent a clue, I know this from old ... lol

Lawn: I can't answer regarding the fuel pump but I bought an additional tank for my bike. I bought a 5 gallon fat bob tank and had no idea what year bike it came off of. It went right on my 2000 Night Train. **My bike is not FI and the tank was from a non FI bike.**

Thanks guys . Those sites you speak of will tell me it wont fit, as I know the fuel pump fitment differs .. But I can deal with that issue with an aftermarkey pump .. its any other issues I'm more concerned about , like fitment to the frame, and console mounting etc .
