Thanks for the replies everyone. I went ahead and ordered the drop in kit. Mama said it will go in my stocking for christmas (she can never figure out what to get me). So December 26, I will have the front end in pieces......

Not sure if you have dondadamnting yet, but, I replaced the stock with the Progressive replacement kit. Leaving it the stock height, but putting in Gold Emulators. Tracks great with nary a wobble in the twisty's or at 80 mph+ in any turn.

What is dondadamnting?

I need to lower the front as I already pulled 2" from the rear and the bars are a little heavy.

I used the drop in kit and lowered 1.5 inch front and rear. I also installed the Ricor Intiminators using the recommended 5Wt fork oil. The front end is firm but provides and very nice ride that soaks up the bumps along with great tracking in the curves. And yes I do scrape floor boards now and then.
