I have to remove my 14 Breakout fender/struts to do an LED mod. The four bolts above the tire came out fine, but the four closest to the seat are just stuck ! Someone mentioned "Harley Thread Locker" was the reason. How do I get those dam bolts out?
Make sure to use the right size bit (should be a T-45 Torx). Too many people will use a tool that is "close enough" and end up stripping the head of the bolt. It should fit snug and go all the way into the hole. The correct bit on a breaker bar should do the job. Good luck.
Thank you asputin and Krustee. That's a mean a$$ed Breakout asputin!
I thought I was using the right Torx....maybe the "close enough" factor came into play? Does the breaker bar have something besides additional torque that loosens it? I'm not trying to toot my own horn, but I am pretty strong and the others came out fairly easy?? Someone mentioned there are reverse thread bolts on the bike, confused me. Why does HD use those ugly cheap bolts anyway!!! I am going to try again tonight.

Ride on.....
Those "ugly cheap bolts" are in fact a high strength grade 8 bolt and they are fastened down tight because those four bolts are the only thing holding up the complete rear fender assembly PLUS the addition of a passenger or cargo. Feel free to change them out to something "pretty" if you'd like.
As for getting them lose; a 1/2 driver and a t45 torx bit is all you need. THESE ARE NOT REVERSE THREAD! Lefty-loosey or you'll end up snapping off one of the bolt heads or stripping it out.
A breaker bar gives you additional torque which is all you need. I don't care how strong you are, if you don't have the right amount of leverage to apply that strength then it's all for nothing. The other bolts came out easier not because of your strength, but because they are not fastened as tightly because they don't bear anywhere near the weight and they can't be fastened as tight as the four bolts that go to the frame because they would tear up the fender. They only need to be as tight as necessary to hold the tin to the struts.
