My opinion - leave the light bar alone. Not keen on that 'V' look. And there you have it.

Now everyone can disagree : )

It certainly would be easier to leave it alone... I'm thinking I probably will. I'm finding that it may be more work than what it is worth - besides, it is already nice and chrome plated the way it is... I can use the money towards other, more substantial mods. Aka.... Wheels.... Rear suspension.... Etc. Etc. Etc.

Yeh, it never stops does it? I had a budget and stayed with it, but there's already an easy $1500 I could drop today.

On the bright side, I'm in central Il. and spent the last 3 days riding; looks like it's good thru Tuesday.

I like what you did with the covers on the wiring.

The V reminds me of something off a V star. Keep it as is. Just my 2 cents.

Ya.. bout that.. It's been in the mid 20's to mid 30's around here the last week - but I don't anticipate that continuing for too much longer. They don't call us the icebox for nothing. I probably won't hit pavement until at least mid April.

Noted. I think after looking at it over and over again, I'll probably jsut end up leaving it the way it is. Maybe I'll pick up an extra bar at a swap meet and play with that before I ruin my good one.

On a side note... I ordered my chrome 36" Samson's on Tuesday, the 13th. Talked to Jessica and she told me there would be around a 6-8 week wait. No problem.. Around here, I won't be riding soon anyhow. Knowing their recent struggles with their move, chroming vendors, etc., I figured it may be closer to 8 weeks, you know... Give them the benefit of the doubt.

Well, I got an e-mail today regarding the exhaust.. Seems as though it has SHIPPED! I guess I'll have something shiny to look at anyways, the next couple months. I'm still waiting on powdercoat from my guy - he said it would be about 2-3 weeks (I also told him no rush).

I'd say the lead time on Samson's has bounced back. Way to go fellas!

Thanks man.. After looking at Redbeards buildup, I couldn't resist using the stuff. It takes the "shine" out of the wires, and helps to better hide them. Working in the aftermarket industry I always told myself if it doesn't look like it came from the factory when you are done with your mod... It ain't done right.

You know what it is to laugh and cry at the same time? That's what owning one of these things is like. I don't treat my women this well.

What this place needs is a smilie of an idiot throwing money around...
