Just looking for some insight on the difference between regular slip on exhaust and then "cocktail shaker" slip Ons. First, I noticed a difference in price. I can get like 2 cocktail shakers for like $150-200...compared to the Rush slip Ons for like $350. Other than that, is there any difference in performance, sound, etc?
Not looking to spend a lot of $$ for a full exhaust change, so slipons is the way I'm looking to go. I'd appreciate any advice/help with this. Oh yeah, my bike is a 2014 Softail Slim. Thanks!!
What is your priority- are you concerned about looks, performance, sound? and what is the quality of the Cocktail Shakers you've seen for $150 ?
Yiou may want to take a look at what American Custom has to offer in affordable slip ons. I have them on my Road King and am pleased with the sound, performance and quality.
I bought a set of the bell tips (cocktail shakers) and although they looked cool, I have to say the quality is not as good as the V&H. The sound was not what I was looking for either. Also I had to fab my own bracket to mount them. I ran them for about 6 months and then decided to go back to my pythons. Again, they do look really good and they draw some attention. Good luck on whatever you decide.

Honestly, at this time, I'm just looking for a little sound. I know for the real performance I'd probably have to go with the full exhaust exchange. For now, I'm not spending the money. I know I'll get a small increase in horsepower with the slip ons, plus they're a third the cost of full exhaust.
I just happen to hear about these cocktail shaker slip ons & was just wondering if they're comparable to other slipons (V&H, Rush, Freedom, etc).

Good to know...yeah, I seen them called bell tips too (Paughco). Yeah, I may just stick with my original idea & get the Rush slip ons...thanks for the info
