Currently have 255 cams on my 2013 Breakout and it woke up the bike tremendously. Thinking about going with the 259 cams.

Not without a comp. bump and heads or headwork. My opinion is that no matter what cam you put in your bike , all you will achieve is moving the torque and hp a little higher in the rpm range, from where you are now. Your 255 is prob awesome off the bottom to 4500 or so. Im doin the mr103 cam by s and s soon, and next year ill bore the cylinders to 107, have the heads done and hopefully be done. What im getting at is our bikes need some comp and headwork to really come alive and fully complement the cams. That 259 that comes in hd stage 4 kit, (as a whole) can run well if tuned really good too. ( not flashed by the dealer.) You can see a detailed write up by Jim G. on the forum about his stage 4 259 cam breakout. good luck

If you already have the 255s and you're happy with them...why change ???
While enjoying the trappings of Las Vegas two summers ago I brought my 09 FLT into the HD dealer for a "tune-up" which cost $2900.00. It included the 10.5:1 103 cui kit, SE259 cams kit with SE spring kit for the heads and compression releases. I also got the clutch diaphram spring changed to the SE kit. After break-in period I had it dyno-tuned and was shown a very nic 98 hp and 101 torque. I did extensive research into the choice and I selected this profile because I like low end torque and the SE259 provided nearly 100% torque at under 2000rpm and maintains torque well beyond 4000rpm, exactly where I wanted it. My primary motivation for the "tune-up" was to improve performance at altitude and that hit the mark 100%. My only regret and STRONG recommendation, change the Compensator Sprocket while you are at it to the SE Kit! I didn't do it at the time because I was not aware of the issues with the weak shitty spring set the OEM provides. I have done the upgrade not and I can tell you my bike gives me everything I want. I test-road a 2015 Road Glide the other day and I would not trade my bike straight for it. I have also since upgraded my suspension with Progressive 440 rear shocks, the frame stabilizer kit and the Progressive Gar Fork upgrade and that has made a world of difference on those "twisty-turny" roads I love soooo much with a full touring load!
