Ok I have a 2007 Heritage , Been reading these fourms for a while now and this is what I ended up doing and all I can say is totaly a new bike again , PERFECT !
Vance & Hines 2 into 1 Pro Pipe Bp , SE Air Box , Stage one download from Harley when I bought the bike. Totaly awsome ? YES ! But wait now there's more. After my first service I got a Power Commander 111 USB from Fuel Moto with a custom map . When I got it I hooked it up to my computer to see how much change there was from Dyno Jet's map for my set up and I found quite a difference..
Ok so I install it on my bike ( A ten year old could do this )
A totaly new bike again !!! Very happy with this set up , LOW END POWER , MID POWER , HIGH END POWER and a real deep Harley sound ! If any are out there and thinking of what to go with , I would not hesitate in doing it !!! Hope this helps some of you ...
I was like you after reading all the negitive posts on the PC 111 was going to go with the SERT. I had the dealer install V & H BSS SE backing plate K&N filter and talked to them about putting a SERT on. They are also in PC dealer with dyno. They asked why I wanted the SERT instead of the PC 111. I told them of all the negitive things that had been posted about the PC 111 on the 07 bikes. They told me that it was up to me but they pefered the PC 111 over the SERT. So I went with the PC 111. I have only been able to ride about 500 miles so far but no problems at all. No poping or hesitation. At the 1000 mile service it will be dyno tuned. I will let you know if there is a noticable differance after that. But the bike seems to run great now!
DO you mind if I ask how much more H.P & Toruqe you increased? Sound's like it's a runner!! I went with the SERT because dealer would only honor my warrenty with HARLEY part's.
