I turned a set out of some 5/8" hex stock that was supposed to be a temporary fix about 3 years ago. I still haven't gotten around to swapping them out for something else.
I have the mustang nuts and their mini bib. I like them both alot. The mustang nuts have the slot to put your rear pillion pad on with out removing them. By the way, I glued a piece of black felt under the bib, just in case. I ran 2 white nylon 1/4" bolts into the 2 holes where the stock rack goes(lowes). Blends in pretty good with the birch white paint.
