Got the Light! Pics tomorrow afternoon, hoping to start about 1 pm ~ Remember, I did not order the Ring....Wish me luck. Initial opinion is that it's a well built unit.
How easy was that!! The only NON issue is that the H4 plug does not have a snap in clip. I just taped it up to make sure it didn't vibrate loose and to keep any moisture out of the clip. The headlight slides right in to the indents and the original retaining ring works like it was made for it. 20 minutes to make the change. That includes the taping and the checking it more than twice to make sure all was a good fit. The pics I'm attaching are worthless. The bulb in the original shot is a high brightness PIAA. And altho I can see a big difference in the light, the camera does not pick that up. Obviously the headlight with the black dot in the middle is the original bulb. So - 2013 Heritage classic is a drop in Mod.
It does not look out of place or stick out at all. Nice to know we have an affordable option that is a direct bolt on.
Curious to hear what it does for you at night.
I have to agree - I've heard of some "Truck" lights that stick out further than the originals. This fits as the original does. Trim ring fits snug with no rattles. A night ride will tell. Problem now is the weather is going to be warm enough, but no rain yet. That road salt makes me a bit crazy. But I can't wait much longer! Will post my opinion when I ride - Thanks
I hear you, with all the salt and rocks on the road, my baby stays put until it rains. As much as I am itching to ride and the weather is soooo nice, I treasure my ride more than going for a ride at the moment.
