My 2k heritage has just at 1500 miles on it since new. I picked it up around 4 mos ago with 347 miles. Brakes are starting to squeak a bit on front. Couldn't b pads already? Any suggestions on quieting them? Thx.
doubt they are worn out..Wondering did you flush the brale lines and you might need to clean the pads and Caliper pistons, they may be sticking a little
Just to be safe, check the front wheel bearing also. Most likely not it...but I had two fail under warranty...6 k on the first one and 7 k for the second, New bike stored inside...second failure happened at 65 mph...only warning was a squeaky brake...
Good thing is, a whole new set of quality bearings are only about thirty bucks.
Ride safe.
Dude check for dirt build up or glazing. Washout callipers. Buy ABS approved brake cleaner. Read instructions & be very careful applying to rotor & calliper. Cleaner can damage paint.
On another note:
I installed a display stand.
Whisker highway pegs. Parts book wouldn't fit. Simple removal of brake retaining clamp & replace with electrical sap straps pegs installed. Look awesome HD ribbed pegs.
